How do I join the HSCO listserv / Google Group?

You can join the HSCO group by entering you email address in the Google Groups input box on the top right-hand side of the HSCO website (www.oregonhsco.org).

Is anyone welcome to join?

Anyone can join the HSCO list to participate in discussions on how best to take action for basic human needs.

How do I send messages to the group?

The easiest way to send messages to the rest of the group is to email hsco@googlegroups.com.

Is there a website for the group?

Yes. It’s located at http://groups.google.com/group/hsco.

What can I do on the Google Groups website?

You can search through past messages, upload files to share with the group, and subscribe to updates using your favorite RSS reader.

I’m trying to post a new discussion item on the website but it won’t let me. What gives?

In order to post on the website you need to have a valid Google Account. Please follow the instructions to create an account using your existing email address as your username.

If I post a discussion item on the website will the group get an email notification?

Yes, posting a discussion item on the website is just like sending an email to hsco@googlegroups.com.

If I send an email to hsco@googlegroups.com will that show up on the website?

Yes, any messages sent to the main HSCO group email address will appear in the discussions section of the website.
